Just a Stitch or Two....

Vierlanden Mystery Sampler
This is an update on my Vierlanden Sampler for this week.  I am making pretty good progress, and enjoying stitching on this a lot.  I will try to keep it up, but am getting the urge to start something new.  And speaking of new, I got some new stash this week.  Since I haven't stitched or bought any stash for about 5 years, I figured I am due some stashing shopping.  I got the Country Cottage Needleworks Cottages of the Month Jan.
through May.  I am planning on doing these on one piece of fabric.  I am excited to get them started.  Aslo I got Jardin Prive Sampler aux Bouquets 1, 2, and 3.  These are so beautiful, but the instructions are in French and it is a little confusing.  Hopefully I will be able to get it figured out.

I also got Country Cottage Needleworks:  The Bookstore, Beach Cottage, and A Day at the Beach.  Can't wait to get those started too.  So much stitching to do!  Hope everyone has a great week and happy stitching!

I had a nice weekend. Jason and Angel brought the boys over to visit with us, and we had a great time. We cooked dinner of bbq chicken for everyone. Emily and Matt came for dinner with Logan, so we got to see 3 of the grandbabies this weekend. I also got some stitching done on my current WIP, the Vierlanden Mystery SAL from 2006 by Martina Dey.

Has it really been 6 years since I have posted to this blog?? My how time flies. So much has changed, but still seem the same LOL. First of all, we are now empty nesters! We have been living here with no children for the past year. Also in the past 5 years we now have 5 more grandsons.

I stopped stitching about the same time I stopped writing in this blog, but recently have started again. I hope I keep it up, and don't get distracted from it. I love cross stitching, and the sense of creating something beautiful. I am going to take a picture of my current WIP and post it as soon as I can.
